Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Initial Assessments and Treatment

Have you recently been involved in a motor vehicle accident (MVA)? Have you been experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress or anxiety about driving since the accident? If yes, you may benefit from an initial assessment of your symptoms and trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

I am dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and counselling services for individuals affected by MVAs. Many individuals experience profound physical, emotional, and psychological impacts following MVAs, and I specialize in supporting individuals in coping with the aftermath of these traumatic events.

Many people are not aware of the financial support they can access for psychological care from car insurance. Within 90 days of the date of your MVA, your motor vehicle insurance or the other party's insurance will automatically cover $1,000 of psychological assessment, documentation, and treatment planning to support and address your recovery. After 90 days, you are typically required to use your own private, extended health benefits first if they are available to you.

I offer initial assessments to Alberta residents who have recently been involved in a MVA (within the last 90 days) and who are experiencing symptoms of trauma-related distress and/or anxiety about driving. After learning about your symptoms in more depth, I submit a report to your insurance company along with an insurance-approved treatment plan.

If you have suffered a motor vehicle accident within the 90-day time frame and you are struggling with the above, reach out to me directly to book your initial assessment.
